David Vigneault explains how Vineyard housing groups work together
Affordable housing advocate and Executive Director of the Dukes County Regional Housing Authority, David is well positioned to explain how the three legged stool of the Vineyard Housing Office works. Below is some information from their website.
VINEYARD HOUSING OFFICE
The Vineyard Housing Office serves as a resource for Islanders in need of housing, as well as those working to create affordable housing opportunities. Located at 346 State Road in Vineyard Haven, the Vineyard Housing Office houses:
Dukes County Regional Housing Authority (RHA)
The RHA is a public housing authority serving the Vineyard and Cuttyhunk. Its purpose is to provide and facilitate the development of affordable, quality, year-round housing for residents of Dukes County. A priority of the RHA is to address the housing needs of residents with low and moderate incomes.

Island Housing Trust (IHT)
The IHT is a community based non-profit organization whose mission is the permanent stewardship of land for affordable housing through long-term ground leasing.
